The music ministry of Miles Road Baptist Church has two primary purposes. The first and the most important is to sing songs that keeps Jesus Christ in a central position. Jesus said, "if I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto me." Secondly, we strive to provide music to help prepare and lead the congregation in corporate worship.
The celebration choir leads our congregation in worship every Sunday morning during our worship services. The Celebration choir does special concerts during the year, as well as our annual Christmas program. They meet every Sunday at 3:45PM in the choir loft.
There are opportunities to sing solos and sometimes to be a part of an ensemble if you are a member of the choir.
